So I have read that it is very commom for dreams to be very vivid and feel "real." Before last night, I only had one dream like that. I had dreamt an old and dear neighbor of mine had passed away, and I woke up crying so hard! Last night, I had to wake Russ up. I had dreamt that I was bleeding and lost the baby! It was horrible! I really thought it had happened. I do know why I was dreaming that way though.
I had this strange feeling near my belly button all afternoon and evening and even in bed. It felt like I had pulled a stitch, if you know what I mean. It was very strange, and I allowed myself to panic about it. Here it is now 9am, and I feel just fine. I really do work myself up before giving myself a chance to rest and to be quiet and to clear my head!
I think it is so cool to have such vivid dreams- I just hope my next one is something more pleasant! :)

Baby Update
Yesterday was the big ultrasound! The little one was very cooperative in terms of not revealing it's gender! That is a big YAY for me!
The results:
The baby weighs 10 ounces. Heart is looking and pumping good at 144 beats per minute. Everything looked good on the ultrasound! The baby is breach at the moment.
Momma has gained 6 pounds but that has still kept me at a loss of 11 pounds!
I will post a picture of the little one once I scan it!

Something IS NOT Right!
So last week, I had this pang really low under my uterus. The nurse said it was probably just ligaments, and to go home and rest and to call her if it happens again. Well, it started again yesterday- mid-afternoon- very mild and not very often. Well, these pangs started to pick up in frequency, and even after I went to bed, these pangs kept me up---they aren't bad but they are just not right. They make me nervous, and I couldn't sleep because of thinking about them.
I know---call the doctor. I didn't because I am going today at 2. I really want them to take me seriously. It really hurt when I got a pap, and the nurse had said my cervix is sitting really low. What does that mean? I was reading yesterday---I swear---I shouldn't read. It makes me freak out because I read all these things it could be. UGH!
I just pray that everything is okay with the baby and that this pain goes away.

"Pregnancy Looks Good On You"
Yesterday, I wore my new dress to work, and everyone just made me feel so good. I went to a meeting after work, and someone said to me, "Pregnancy Looks Good On You." That just made me feel so good!
There are days where you see your body changing, and you are absolutely mortified. There are things that have happened that I will never post because it is just too much information. That is what Belly Laughs by Jenny McCarthy is for! :) There are other days that you feel really good; there are days you look at yourself and just say, "Oh God." When I have those days, I feel really guilty because what is happening to me is a miracle, and it is a beautiful thing. I guess what I am trying to say is that I feel both great and yucky all at the same time and always feel bad about feeling yucky. Does that make any sense?
Then there is this---someone said to me, "Why are you wearing maternity clothes? You don't even look pregnant." Well, for the record---my pants do not fit anymore. I have the maternity clothes and at this point, are much more comfortable. I think I can do whatever I want!
But to end on a positive note, I generally feel that pregnancy is working for me! :)

Busy Weekend!
What a busy and productive weekend!
My mom (she rocks my world) painted the ceilings upstairs on Friday. On Saturday, she and I went out and bought paint for the baby's room as well as some other things. She and I sanded the walls down. We decided to just paint over the paneling because the sheetrock underneath is in poor condition.
Russ primed and painted the room over the weekend. He has one more coat to do plus the trim work...but so far, that room is bright! We picked a light green color. Russ hates it at the moment, but I think it will grow on him. Nothing is on the walls, no furniture- plus it needs another coat.
I went out with Melanie Duarte yesterday who is leaving for a whole year! She bought the baby it's first outfit! It is so cute! It is a three piece set with little paw prints all over it! It is cream and tan colored and has a little bear on the front! She also got us a coordinating blanket that matches the outfit. I tried looking for it online so I could post a picture- but I can't find one!
Tonight- I MUST hem my work dress pants. I no longer fit in my regular pants. My belly popped on Friday! :)

Dr. Appt Today
I didn't have an ultrasound today, but I will be going to the big one in two weeks! I have LOST 17 pounds! Yippee! Who would have thought pregnancy can bring on weight loss! Great!
I did ask about Russ' bloodwork because at my last appointment they didn't bring it up. Apparently, Russ and I do not have blood that works together. I have an antibody in my blood from my blood transfusion when I was a baby, and Russ has the antigen they didn't want him to have in his blood. At this point, the risk is having a baby that is aniemc. (I don't think I spelt that right.) My nurse talks so much that I am not sure what they are doing to do except monitor my blood by having me get my blood drawn more often.
She listened to the baby's heartbeat and all was good and strong! It was so cool to hear it beating. In all these baby books I am reading, they say that I could feel the baby move at any point. I can't wait for that to happen!

Productive but Sleepy Weekend- Part 2
Russ and I decided on names.
For a girl- Addison Rachel
For a boy- Aiden Russell
Either way---initials will be ARD. We didn't plan it...nor did we plan on picking only A names or picking one of the most popular boy names...but we like them...and we are sticking to it!
I go for an ultrasound tomorrow---I MUST remember to tell the technician that we do not want any clues as to the sex of the baby. :) Russ would...but not me. He is being so kind to wait it out with me. I do want to know but I really want the surprise...and I know, I know...it is killing everyone else and more of a shocker if you think about it is that for once...I am patiently waiting to find out. So unlike me!
